It's after nine, do you know what your kids are up to?
Check out my live blog of the Youth Group Lock-in. It's my play-by-play of the night's activities for as long as I can last.

A Chapter a Day…
Wyandotte County Christian Church
Bible Reading Group
January 2008 – Proverbs
Bible Reading Group
January 2008 – Proverbs
Are you looking for a New Year’s resolution that you can keep? Would you like to make the daily reading of your Bible a new habit?
It’s Simple!
1. Read just one chapter a day.
2. Meet during Sunday School and/or Wednesday Nights to discuss and explore what we’ve read and how it impacts our daily lives.
3. You’ll find accountability and encouragement in this small group.
Read a chapter of Proverbs on each corresponding day in January.

Winter Weather
It's icy out, are we canceling church?
Probably not.
As a rule, we don't cancel church for the weather unless it's absolutely unavoidable. People tend to keep themselves home anyway if the weather is questionable. But some will venture out and we'll always try to provide services for those who can make it. If that's 20% of our normal crowd, that's okay; we'll have services for the 20%.
If we cancel for some reason, the first news outlet we traditionally report to is Fox 4.

Sunday School Attendance

We had 108 people in Sunday School yesterday, perhaps the best showing we've ever had (and the best we've seen in quite awhile). That's about 79% of yesterday's worship attendance, which is well above the average percentage for most churches. It also came on a day that we didn't have a particularly large worship attendance.
We currently are offering three adult classes and multiple classes for children (including nursery).
